I had a 24hr test drive before the arrival of my car and I was listening to aif in my USB and heard a background hiss at volume 10 and above. Does everyone hear this at that level or was it my source? Basically is it interference in the system, the usb connection, or the songs? thanks

Crank down your treble a bit in the graphic equalizer.

These were my settings which reproduced the music quite well.

Volume 10 and above? I know it goes to 11... but seriously.

We had a thread where we discussed the fact that certain formats were acting badly. WAV and FLAC were much quite than my mp4(AAC) files and I had to play them at 10 whereas I would play the mp4s at 7.

Also were having an issue with Blue Coast files hissing on the Tesla.

I raised the volume just to test, 8 seemed loud enough to me but you would think that if you pay [email protected] for better audio and the source is good that there won't be any hiss or feedback from the system, at least up to its predetermined max volume
