I'm probably being a bit simple but can you not just disable Collision Avoidance Assist, if this phantom braking is a regular event?

I believe CAA works while YOU are driving, the phantom breaking happens when on Auto-pilot / TACC.

Any iPhone users tried to text with this update? I receive texts fine but when I try and reply I just get 'Send failed' as far as I can see all the options are enabled just sending that doesn't work.

I’ve used it OK. Voice recognition manages to Find my wife, dictate an almost recognisable message and sends with the scroll wheel.
I haven’t had any issues sending with iPhone 11 connected

I had this the other day on the motorway. It seemed to happen when passing an on ramp while travelling in the inside lane.

Sounds similar. Both times I’d just joined and was in the inside lane. i came off at the next off ramp both times so couldn’t match your experience

I got 2021.12.25.7 the other day and yesterday noticed a much nicer interface for the phone app, much bigger touch targets for your favourites. It almost makes up for the terrible voice recognition for initiating calls!

With the phone sitting in its charger position I can just use Hey Siri to initiate calls so no need to depend on the car’s voice recognition.

Thats true, though a little janky when it cuts in through the car speakers. I intend to change to the bigger iPhone next time, so will probably find it out of my pocket more often to do that!

Since this update, supercharger pins are only visible on my map when zoomed in to the charger location. No longer showing pins on the zoomed out UK or Europe map; quite frustrating especially when planning a route. Tried the usual reboot options but no change.

Perhaps there is some spin off from the FSD beta which is 12.25.13

I haven't tried it for a while so it might be old news but I can now swipe for tire pressures or trip meters (after the UI change had made it all but impossible to find the place to swipe).

Trick has been to swipe from the middle of the screen, not the edge. Took me a while to discover this after the software update that made the change. Can you now swipe from the edge again?

False alarm, I'm afraid. I was in park. In drive there's no change after all. Sorry.
