[UK] 2021.4.x

They're all over the place with releases at the moment, there seems to be four or five being installed in various places.

I assume 2021.4 will become the big release eventually so it would be nice to see some release notes.

A theory is that 2021.4 is V11 and contains the new features required to support the launch of the new S and X.

So far...

2021.4 spotted on a model x
2021.4.1 spotted on a model 3

The fact that's it's been reported but no release notes have been shared suggest to me that it's still (limited) Early Access Program participants running it, and they probably shouldn't be allowing their installed apps to report it or maybe their apps (Nikola) don't have a toggle to disable reporting.

We shall see, wouldn't be surprised if 2021.4 never makes it to the wild at all, more likely 2021.8 will be the public release.

The speculation on Twitter suggests 2021.4 will be the big V11 release but that Tesla are trying to avoid it being leaked (which is consistent with it only showing on a couple of cars with the Nikola App and not on TeslaFi or TeslaScope). Supposedly the new Model S and X will need V11, and they are due at the end of the month, so we might see the wide release of 2020.4.x/V11 before the end of February.

Reasonable assumptions, there will be new H/W features and it's probably not worth the effort retrofitting support to V10 (it may not even be possible).

New 2021.4.2 confirmed as bug release not V11:

Software version 2021.4.2 was just detected on a Tesla Model Y Performance in Virginia United States. The highest previous version was 2020.48.37. Follow the 2021.4.2 release at TeslaFi.com Firmware Tracker

Looks to be most vehicle types in reasonable numbers.

New Installing 2021.4.3 here. UK Model S.

UK release notes would be useful if you could post, even if they don't show anything useful..
