I have B on my VIN too, found 26th October.
I am not worried too much about a few miles of range, but am more worried about future resale value if in the future people avoid 2021 cars with B VIN? I dont know...guess we will find out when they arrive...
I wouldn't class the battery as a 'subtle upgradable item like an iPhone battery'. To me its more like getting a more efficient 2l turbo which does 40mpg rather than 35mpg and CO2 of 120 rather than 150. makes a difference I think...
Has anyone else noticed on the account page dashboard it now says 2021 Tesla Model 3 whereas before it said just Tesla Model 3!!

No need to worry about whether you have Panasonic or LG for resale. Only geeks know this and in any case, they are nothing in comparison to 4680 change.

Got my VIN texted to me today and pleased to say I have 7F in digits 7 & 8 - LFP battery with the hairpin motor... (maybe slightly longer range??)

I ordered on 5th October SR+ White/Black 18", No VIN.

From the flurry of VINs assigned on that day, most were LR and few SR+ but they were White/White

I ordered 1st Oct white/black M3LR and got my vin in the latest batch, I’m sure you will get yours soon

How can you do that without registration plate and insurance start date?

Yes you can insure with the VIN, you don't need the registration plate

I ordered blue but ordered back in September and got the VIN on the 26th .... I'd say the Blue don't appear to be as popular so given you only ordered a couple of weeks ago it may be in the next batch?

Congrats! Thanks for letting us know! But we've been told mid-late December delivery for Ireland and no communication of being matched/VIN's yet either..... Think we will have a bit longer to wait!

Yep, blue LR ordered 13th sept. No VIN yet.

Chuffed! Just been told by CS that I have been allocated a car and to expect delivery before the end of November. No clue as to the ship it’s on though.
For those interested: M3sr+ white /black. Ordered by Lex 16/09, RN received 17/09.
