Just set your navigation to the south manchester/stockport service centre and use the SuC there, its about 12 miles away.

I think they said they charged using a 7V charger at Trafford center car park - not sure the Trafford supercharger has been set up - otherwise I think there is one in Manchester south as per Tesla maps. Better to use one of the 7v rather than going around with 15-20% looking for a SC.

I know Manchester well that’s why I said I don’t want to go to the SC - someone said they charged at the Trafford centre but didn’t say where. I am heading back to leeds round the M60 north at that time not south.

Oh yeah - there are some be.ev 7kw ones in the car park opposite the tesla pickup - have a look at zap map for details, plenty in the area.

Anyone collected from the NEC yet? I'm curious as to what level of charge you had when collecting. As long as it has 15% charge at a minimum I think that should be plenty to get me home. I'm guessing the "real world" range at 100% charge is around 300 miles for the LR variant so I've just worked backwards and left some wiggle room for silly driving along the way lol. Either way, with the sheer volume of cars they're delivering/collecting, I suspect charge levels will vary for most cars.
Just purely speculation here, but could there be something different in next quarter’s batch? (New battery perhaps?) for them to be clearing all the demo models.
I wonder if it's new battery packs or the Model Y might be making an appearance. Makes sense to clear some Model 3 demonstrators to make room for the Ys.

Good choice. I had a SR+ and it was amazing, but I only got it because I couldn't afford the LR at the time. The LR comes with more range, even better performance, and a better sound system. I also think having the front fog lights improves the look of the front of the car.
I'm picking up from the NEC tomorrow. It will have more than 15% charge. It depends where you live but if you live in the Birmingham area you'll be fine. If you're going further afield, just put your home in the sat nav system and it'll tell you if you need to supercharge.
Now that would be interesting. Personally, I'm not sure about the yoke steeringMay be Yoke steering and no stalk model 3 is on its way
Probably I am in the minority! Looking forward to drive a model 3 with yoke steering and no stalk gear lever
And I hate the R-N-P-D format gear lever while using a stalk and with no mechanical coupling gears in Tesla why can't Tesla change that. With the screen version of R-N-P-D in model S, atleast you don't change it with muscle memory. Elon and the team are you reading this? Either bring D-N-P-R format stalk lever or update model 3 to model S format!
