Life changing update that...how did we ever cope before...never mind swiping away the phone card...can we have the old cards back so I don't have to fart around in a menu to see my trip information

I do like that preconditioning will continue after a door is opened, I presume that means opening the boot as well.

That catches me out most days, I load the car long before I actually leave and yet set preconditioning for when I leave obviously.

Maybe they will come up with a fix for not turning off the main screen when another door is opened. Gets me every time when I am in the passenger seat...

It's so annoying not have "install after download ".
In two years, always the software update was downloaded in the night, and in the next morning I founded the notification to install it. Will be better to have such option and the new update be ready when you will go... or not?

Unofficial comment on undocumented 'faster backup camera'. Not sure if anyone has noticed any changes there or with earlier releases - I've not been affected this time around although I was affected a few years back when HW3 was still quite new and similar issues initially.

I did comment earlier that my backup camera looked sharper on 4.5.16. It never seemed laggy but then I haven’t hit anything…

Longest gap between software updates has been 7 days since I got my car... I don't expect it to stay that way, but it's a refreshing change coming from an ID.3 where you have to sign up for an update by clicking an emailed link, then wait an indeterminate amount of time, often months before the update finally decides to appear!

There’s a mention of driver profile sync over on the Twitter. They haven’t mentioned what version this appears in, but there’s a photo showing the option next to easy entry in the individual profile settings. Anyone have their car to hand and is able to check?

There's nothing like that on mine, just went out to check (2022.8.2). I have seen mention of some cloud sync features being found in the code, but come across any pictures of anything like it in the car yet.

Mine is laggy. Not as bad as the ipace...bang what pole....oh that pole.... Someone measured it to be ½ second behind reality!

Mines's been installing .8.2 and still only shows 80% after the best part of an hour. A very slow update with seemingly little to excite when it finishes as my climate preconditioning season is basically over.
