I got a phone call today from Tesla Dartford, seeing if I was interested in buying a used Tesla instead of my current order, due to it being pushed back to the end of the year. Should have dug deeper about price etc but I declined it as im not really in a rush for a car and I was at work.
please tell me what is the way to check this also when you book and what date you see on the app and have you received any text?
A disappointing and unprompted email from my lease company today. As a reminder, RN received for M3LR white/black/aeros on 18th March via Fleet Alliance (Lex).
Tesla at the moment are unfortunately experiencing delays with their shipments coming from Shanghai due to the current lockdowns they are experiencing. So unfortunately, we are potentially looking at a November delivery, when we should have expected to see these for a July delivery. In terms of the deliveries themselves, upon ordering the vehicle, you have the option to either have this delivered or pick this up from a specific depot, however in terms of efficiency it wouldn’t be much quicker to pick up than to deliver.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. I will request a further update w/c 11th July and will update you accordingly.
I know well enough by now to take anything EDD related with a pinch of salt so I shall remain hopeful that it'll be sooner!

So my EDD got pushed back to dec/jan 2 weeks ago. I can’t wait that long. I ordered a “new” demo car in my spec and I was due to pick it up in Manchester tomorrow. I booked everything to travel down from Glasgow by train, booked the day off work, got extra child care and sorted a dog walker and Tesla postponed it yesterday. Not happy. I now have a new delivery date of Tuesday. They said they are replacing an alloy. This should have been done earlier instead of doing it at the end of the week. It was assigned middle of last week. 
I don’t have any days off next week during the week and getting married in two weeks so any days I have off are meeting with people for the wedding like wedding planner, photographer etc.
Might have to try and take ANOTHER days holiday!

So my date changed from Novemeber-December to June 23 - June 30 and I can now see a VIN in the page source.
I guess it's a mystery how Tesla's allocation of EDD works, lets hope I now get a trade in I'm still happy with and a collection appointment before it moves again. A small part of me wonders if it means June 2023 to June 2030.

Not a text but my EDD has changed again I've been given my original end of July dates that I had before they changed then to August - October.
The way Tesla have acted I have no confidence that this new EDD will remain fixed
