Wanted!
Blue n/s mudflap..lost most of my front one.. Don't want to buy 4 to replace one.. I thought someone might have and be willing to part with one?
Plan 2: use the 2 freebies from Tesla and paint them Blue.. more expensive than buying the 4 replacements (the paint is about £20) but at least I'll be using what I've got.

Big car buying site prices change depending on what the auction market does, seems to change also based on what the lead time is for next batch of model 3s to appear, price went up when Tesla site went from Dec delivery to Feb.

Main advantage (beyond they seem to pay more sometimes) is you turn up and sell, other places rely on getting a buyer.

For me in early Dec the selling options came out like this....

Tesla trade in £32.4k - this seemed to be a complete joke.

Private on autotrader, you can ask for £37-38k but unlikely to sell, people want a dealer for that much cash.

EV specialists ~33-34k, they market at £37-38k or pay 1-1.5k fee when they get a buyer (slippage in price as everyone negotiates down)

Webuyanycar £36.1k, charged £100 for scratch which seems to be the same for leased vehicle. They literally spent 2 secs looking at car ( and spotted the only scratch!)

Main observation is prices move round quite a bit, everyone’s circumstances different which explains lots of price differences. Webuyanycar are trying to rebuild there reputation and pay too much!!

My latest valuation from WBAC: 2 days left on your valuation of £36,360 for your grey, Sep 2020, 4,000 miles, TESLA MODEL 3
My Aug 2019 is £36000 with 34k miles on the clock. My settlement figure is £33000. I’m seriously thinking to follow @Kenners and trade in for new inventory 2021 on lease. Monthly’s will be less, even with zero down, and I’ll have a few k to play with...

any thoughts?

Seems a no brainier, I can’t think of another car that has economics like this, this is the real dividend of early adoption.

Does anybody have any of the PPF for the rear wheel arches? Want to protect mine from gravel rash/chips.

I’ve got the Front mudguards new in box in case anybody wants to swap, or indeed buy them?

Alternatively could anybody recommend any PPF film I could buy, rather than pay Tesla £50 for their simple kit, plus wait a while for it to be delivered from Amsterdam?

Wanted:

If any 2021 Model 3 owner is taking off the numberplate holders to stick their plate to the car itself, I’d like to buy them off you.

I only need the actual plate holders, not the plinth that screws to the car.

I have a set of Model 3 interior mats, the genuine Tesla ones spare as a set came with my new LR. They have been used but not much wear (8k miles worth), would say very good condition.

Also have a centre console wrap in white I got from Abstract Ocean and is also now surplus to requirements.

And a frunk rubber mat.

And a wireless charger.

Open to offers on all, collection welcome, located Wanstead, East London

I ordered the Tesla PPF on the 28/12 along with a few other bits and pieces and they arrived on the 30/12. Not cheap, but I couldn’t have got it quicker online from anywhere in the UK. All the items were shipped separately, but arrived with the same courier at the same time.

I wonder if Brexit will have any impact if stuff is shipped from the EU? Other places in the EU are selling stuff without VAT and then you pay VAT in the UK. The downside to this is that the courier takes a cut for a transaction fee.
