Is there any reason to believe we should expect to get this in the EU? FSD Beta hasn’t even stated anywhere in Europe yet.

I assumed this “holiday surprise” was a US thing.

There is much conjecture as to what holiday release will bring. I personally do not believe that v11 is dependent on FSD, but imho I suspect that v11 and the holiday release will be one in the same. However, some under the hood 'improvements' from FSD development may be more visible - I think we have got some already but they never get a mention.

The v10 release from last year was a bit of an anticlimax for me. iirc it basically bought along a slight reorganisation of the entertainment functions. With EM being a bit more descriptive of some of the features in the holiday update, one would like to think its going to have something a bit more than a few new entertainment features.

Sadly, whatever comes our way, getting much by way of driving isn’t too likely, unless you are one of poor struggling frontline workers.
Being retired and currently in tier 2, I have absolutely nothing to gripe about. My heart to goes out to those whose life and Christmas plans just took a nosedive.

I got 48.12.1 yesterday and 48.10 on 9/12.
Wouldn’t be surprised if 12.1 turns up first for you very shortly

Apparently it will be able to automatically accelerate after phantom braking and give out some expletives while doing it.

Then it will use your Tesla account credit card to buy sexy pictures of Lamborghini's (dirty but nice - the more CO2 the better).

Don't know why people think AI is going to take over the world.

Wouldn’t be surprised if 12.1 turns up first for you very shortly

It's so random. Sometimes I am basically the first person on Teslafi in the UK, other times I am two weeks later.

I’m not on Teslafi but I’ve had both early and late updates.
You almost wonder whether your sim has dialled update and is getting “you are held in a queue but your call is important to us...”

UI Tweaks - position of buttons/icons

This has seemed to gone quiet on the Social Media (pics/videos etc) and does seem strange to have two UIs running in parallel especially with the effort that’s gone into the animations etc. This might well make the cut.

During the installation of 2020.48.12.1 is says unwrapping present on my UK M3P which suggests there is something in the release for Christmas. I have not been able to find any differences to the previous 2020.48 release so it could be ready to expose itself on the 25th.

Sounds like its going to be another anticlimax?
