....well we can rule that one out, it's going the other way!
Thank you, not done a PCP before so didn't know how I stood as I was told Tesla will retain the V5. I will get in touch with them and hopefully it should be a smooth task.I've never had issues on any PCP deal with PP - just tell them first and then get the new V5 - Tesla (for once) is not bespoke in such matters

Well, I don't have a reg or anything yet but they did just ask me for some money.
Curiously the Final Invoice has a different scheduled delivery date to the one I selected a couple of weeks ago. Need to check that.

Being a Tesla ship, we should have known that there wouldn't be anything 'usual' about it!
If their T's & C's have not changed, you do not need to tell them - it should be detailed in the paperwork you get for signature, mine from March 2020:
Edit: Sadly leasing companies make it far more complicated (at least ALD do) and I can see no reason for it other than unnecessary red tape

Given the delivery dates for the UK (16-24 June) and Ireland (26-30 June) the original estimated Southampton arrival of June 9th was too optimistic. Thus now makes sense. I'd say it's Southampton next after Le Harve

Very happy for you, i’ll be waiting for mine. Too bad that this gen3 in the UK won’t do 48A charging with a single phase 230V AC like those in the US.

Finally got my reg number today, always seem to be the last one not that it matters as its a company car so going on company insurance.

This is true, and granted, the leasing company hold the V5, but they could still make the process easier for the end user. Under the terms of the lease I will have several hurdles to negotiate to effect my reg transfer, under the PCP agreement I had none.
Agreed, there are many more hurdles to jump through on a lease, they don’t make it easy.

Hi all, Just wondering how many other people are getting their M3 through a lease company rather than directly from Tesla? and if you have heard anything since you ordered it? I know its a bit unlikely as there are a lot of reservation holders still waiting. I am still hopefully it will be...

Oh really? On the chat today, I asked the question if I would get the V5 or if Tesla would and they answered Tesla so that's why I was confused about how I change the plate without the V5 at hand. I should know better to listen to what Tesla chat agents tell me, I've been caught out so many times with wrong information.....this is why I come on here and ask the experts which are you guys

This is also important for insurance as you need to answer yes to being the owner of the vehicle as part of your application. It’s also why Gap insurance is often a good idea as the shortfall between market value driven by depreciation and value owed to the lender which will include the front loaded interest can be significant in the first couple of years.

Wondering if this batch of M3P from China still got radar and passenger seat lumbar support. Can we assume that they will be like those M3Ps recently delivered in Australia ? Any inputs are appreciated.
