UK only poll - investigating a link redirection problem

Only for users based in UK, when you click the link in the quote below, what product do you see?

  • Product in image A

    Votes: 4 7.4%
  • Product in image B

    Votes: 49 90.7%
  • Something else

    Votes: 1 1.9%

  • Total voters
    54
  • Poll closed .
For the sake or my sanity, can I please ask a rather daft sounding question.

If you click the link in the quote below (ie from within TMC), do you see product A below, product B below or something else? Answers in poll above.

If you see product A, can you please briefly describe your browser, ISP etc

Poll may close/be deleted without warning.

Product B

Thanks everyone, apart from the single vote above, it looks like an incorrect redirection to a different product is occurring for everyone else, but this does not seem to affect US based users.

It seems to be after some interaction with the forum software. Manually entering the URL in the browser probably yields the correct response.

I guess I always have to be different. I go to product A, on the USA Amazon website. Running macOS 11.3 and Safari browser on a MacBook Air.
Ironically, you actually have the correct product. No prize though.

Thankfully, it seems that I am not going (any more) mad. And not just me with this erroneous redirection.

So amazon is redirecting to the UK site with the wrong product code.
