yeah this is what i was thinking….dilemma now as to whether i should trade in while it’s still at current price and i can get 46 trade in for my 21 LRwonder if they will increase the MY price ?
Very likely, they have probably already costed the current ones built for delivery in May so beyond that likely a price increase I believeyeah this is what i was thinking….dilemma now as to whether i should trade in while it’s still at current price and i can get 46 trade in for my 21 LR
Order is a £100 (refundable under UK law) deposit. So order now. Get a trade in quote. If you back out later no harm done.yeah this is what i was thinking….dilemma now as to whether i should trade in while it’s still at current price and i can get 46 trade in for my 21 LR
M3 is backed up till November so they have 8months to get them all sold. So why not raise the price. MY are available in May (even the variants that say July on order page) so not long left to sell them. So a price rise is less likely. Shipping costs Nickel etc are all through the roof though so anything is possibleJust checking the Tesla site it seems the 3 has had yet another price increase - now showing at £51,990 starting for a LR, hoping this will have a positive impact again on resale….maybe time for a trade in for a Y
Elsewhere in Europe Model 3 prices have also risen while Model Y prices have stayed the same.wonder if they will increase the MY price ?
Maybe Tesla are optimistic that MY production can ramp up in Germany to serve new orders, and the import tax saving offsets the higher cost of batteries and other components?wonder if they will increase the MY price ?
who knows with Tesla, they have been known to reduce as well as increase prices !With a RWD costing £43,990 I’m glad I got an SR+ last Sep at £40,990. Makes me wonder where the price might be in 12 months!
This is old news, the prices went up a few days ago.
Hopefully good news for people like me who are about to trade their M3 in though, I’m hoping their valuation has gone up when my current 7 day trade in price ends tomorrow! That really is a long time in Tesla terms.
As long as they’re selling every car they make, there’s no reason to attempt price parity with ICE cars.If EV's are going a achieve price parity with ICE cars in a couple of years as we keep being promised ICE manufactures seriously need to start raising their prices!
I don't think Tesla were the ones to say that and my statement was tongue in cheek anyway. As long as they’re selling every car they make, there’s no reason to attempt price parity with ICE cars.
Elon has said for years that EV prices need to come down to ICE car levels, that was pre covid though.I don't think Tesla were the ones to say that and my statement was tongue in cheek anyway.
I think Tesla would claim their cars are already cheaper than ICE if you look at total cost of ownership. They may well be right.
One of my friends posted on social media the other day horrified that he just paid £88 to fill up his BMW. I didn't resist the temptation to say I just filled up my car as well and it cost £3.75. To be fair though he was using super unleaded and I was using economy electrons so its not an entirely fair comparison.
Correct- I’ve paused taking my Y to give more Time for the M3 to Appreciate!Hopefully good news for people like me who are about to trade their M3 in though, I’m hoping their valuation has gone up when my current 7 day trade in price ends tomorrow!
It’s not a bad plan. I’m torn between waiting for 4680 MY from Berlin and my M3 to appreciate (or at least my equity in it to increase due to having made more payments), or just take the MY as soon as I’m offered one!Correct- I’ve paused taking my Y to give more Time for the M3 to Appreciate!
