Gridserve application in uckfield looks to be granted dependant on conditions being met. Will keep an eye on any activity in the area. https://planning.wealden.gov.uk/plandisp.aspx?recno=150249
They just showed up on my list in NAV. Searching online still says coming in Q3 2021. Perhaps that’s why 8/8 are available correction shows up in the app and can be sent to the car, but just searching in the car, they ain’t there!!
Although a pita, easy enough. Chargers are near the hotel lobby. one sign at the end of the charger cul-de-sac, easy to miss if you plug into the furthest stalls though
Can't wait for the Trentham Gardens (Staffordshire) one, it's coming Q4 and it's only down the road from me. I'll try to get some pictures when there is movement on the site.
Ah but is it? If you are going by the Tesla map then unfortunately those dates are very speculative. It has been known for proposed locations to be on the map for years (they get updated every so often and pushed to a later date). If you have inside info then that's different .
You have me thinking now... I've just checked the local council planning applications and can't find anything for it on there Do you know if the Trentham Gardens pin has been there for a while now?
I'm afraid I don't know. The best source of imminent Superchargers is at supercharge.info just select UK as the country.
Are you checking Stafford or Stoke? I'm checking both cos even though Trentham Gardens is in Stafford, I'm hoping they mean Trentham Lakes.
Nigel Baker on TOGUK has been tracking the Uckfield GridServe planning permission and has just said it has been approved with a narrow 7:5 vote. Great news. Braintree took 9 months ish to build and open so it will be interesting to see when work begins.
Various I believe from believing it was unnecessary or would be underused, to not believing a coffee shop was necessary “visitors could bring their own coffee”.
Because they are dinosaurs. There were a number of comments about the site location being over a boundary that local parishes were told wouldn’t be crossed, taking people away from the towns retail offering, road congestion (admittedly on an already busy road, but they are already building 1000 houses about half a mile away with direct access). I will keep an eye on any construction starting but I don’t think it’ll be just yet.
