Possibly two more chargers coming to Lifton

Bit frustrating as they were out of the way anyway, can’t imagine anyone would be exploiting the parking there..
Agreed, but it’s the same hotel chain as Northampton and they also have Cameras albeit with signs everywhere and notices on the Tesla Website as well as in the in-car Nav... and people still get fines. Just look at their trip advisor site. Full of complaints from Tesla owners about fines.

Washington will be a nightmare as many already in routine and no signs / notices etc

Pease Pottage under construction according to supercharger.info anyone have pictures?

I'm passing there next Sunday, will pop in for a check and photo

I saw a picture on TOGUK (originally posted on the Sussex EVs group) showing some construction activity in the right area: perimeter fencing being put in place, some ducting pipes and what could be a small digger in the background.

However note that the planning application was only received on 19th June and its status is currently "Pending Consideration". Received wisdom is that Tesla now wait for the red tape to be sorted out before starting construction following earlier issues at sites like Brighouse.

The supercharge.info guys are good about verifying any information available before updating the database. In the case of Pease Pottage it's difficult to imagine the construction activity isn't connected to the proposed new chargers but worth keeping everything crossed until planning permission is officially granted.

In other news another TOGUKer has reported being able to charge at Hilton Park Southbound. It's not on the Nav yet but will hopefully be fully commissioned soon. An accompanying photo shows all 12 stalls uncovered but you can't tell if they are all illuminated (2 were bagged at Hilton Park Northbound to begin with - not sure if all 12 are available there yet).

Either way, it's looking like the CCS upgrade for us classic Model S owners is going to become urgent quite soon.

Was thinking the same..... would be annoying not to be able to use Superchargers, especially with unlimited free supercharging included with the car.

With the CHADeMO adapter still working well at the old Ecotricity and CPS sites, getting a CCS upgrade as well would complete the set for DC fast charging.
