Fountain Valley Supercharger today; plugged in, green flashing light but no charging, then purple light at plug and error message "Unable to charge. Please unplug and try again.
This happened 6 times in rapid succession before I called Tesla customer service. While I was on the phone, purple light turned green flashing and charging commenced at 240kW. The plug did feel a little sloppy as I inserted it.
And, no, I did not move to another station. This was, after all Fountain Valley and there were 4 other cars waiting for a charging station to come available.
Service center too busy to answer my call or customer service's call and they have not called back.
I am supposed to start a 1,000 mile trip tomorrow morning early. Naturally, I am concerned about being stranded in Inyokern or somewhere, unable to charge.
Anybody have this happen?
If so, was it the car or the station?
