Unable to disable alarm..

Same for my Model Y on the ferry to the Isle of Wight. During the journey I used sentry to view the cameras and the alarms in all the cars around me were going off!

Lucky sod I tried that but deep in the bowels of a DFDS ferry in the middle of the channel there was no internet……fancy that

I get the same. Sentry is disabled, but i cannot disable alarm.

I can dosable the tilt/intrusion but alarm is ON and greyed out

I checked this in my new Model Y today as we regularly travel to France on the ferry. There is no tilt/intrusion toggle at all. I’m sure there was in the Model 3 I had before so this is a bit of a pain. It’s a simple feature that should be standard.

I don't think it's a pain to not have to do something. I suspect they have changed the sensors on the MY so it won't go off on the ferry as mine was fine.

You‘ve never been able to disable the alarm, only the tilt/intrusion setting.

It wast definitely there on my 3. The screenshot of a 3 posted above shows it’s there.

It is there on our 2019 Model 3 and not there on our 2022 Model Y.

Are they both running same software? I wonder if the sensors might have been in the roof crossbar on the 3 which of course the Y doesn’t have.

They were until the Y updated to 2022.20.5 two days ago. But I don't believe that changed this.

Can I ask how you leave your MY on the Ferry, I’m doing Portsmouth to Bilbao in a couple of weeks and after following all the above I would prefer a quiet crossing without alarms going off.

Unfortunately I can’t answer your question as we haven’t taken the Y on the ferry yet, we took the campervan over for our summer holiday. That was easy, VW allow the interior alarm to be turned off. Still can’t see how to achieve this on the Y, sorry.
