Unable to give others access to my Tesla [in U.A.E]

When I gave access to another account, this message showed up. Why would the account be incompatible? And how can I change that?

It could be a geographical restriction for the email domains used for the accounts. I recall another recent post from someone in Europe where they had to use a European email account or something to that effect. Have the other driver use a different email address if they can.

They first used their Gmail, then their iCloud. I am in the U.A.E., so maybe you can’t share the vehicle with another in this country? But it doesn’t really make sense.

Hi. Did you solve your issue? I am also in the UAE and gave my wife acces with no issues. Using a gmail email address

I would like to find out about this issue too. I just gave my wife the credentials for my Tesla account and that's how I solved it.
