Unable to pair remote for gate (DKS/Doorking brand) with 2017 model s.

Subject tells the story. 2017 90d with home link . New fresh battery in the remote. Followed all Tesla directions. Repeatedly.

garage door opener pairs fine. But not this gate.

suggestions? Or is this Something the service center has to address?

I have a doorking gate in my neighborhood. Homelink is not compatible with door king

MicroClik is compatible with Tesla Homelink and I have personally programmed it in my car.
The Homelink is very finicky, I programmed it right at the gate. The gate antenna, remote and car had to be in very close proximity to each other for it to work. Once it was programmed, it worked normally and I was able to set the gps location normally to open the gate. If it doesn't program the first time then try again a few times.
A friend of mine has a DKS gate opener, with a microclik opener, for his neighborhood and we weren't able to program it in his car.
Do you have access to the control panel where the "Learn" button maybe? Sometimes this helps with programming.

I had access to the MicroClik receiver, as we are a very small neighborhood. You may have to get access through the company that maintains the gate. Its locked up with a key to access the panel (to avoid random people programming their own openers and thus defeating the purpose).
The instructions are attached and can also be found by doing a google search for the receiver.
Once you have programmed the code to the car homelink usingvyour microClik transmitter, then you go to the receiver and have it learn the code from the car by pushing the cars programmed homelink button.
