Understanding the Tesla Model S Performance motor

I watched 2 YT videos made by a Professor of Auto Technology in a USA Uni.
Well worth a watch but a bit slow at times.
One interesting part was that the 2 bearings that support the motor rotor shaft are ceramic ball bearings.
They run dry with no lubricant and rotate at max of 18,000 RPM.
The rotor weighs around 30kg.
