Unicorn P90(with upgraded 90 kWh battery from 85) with AP 1

For your consideration is a later 2014 Multi Coat Red Tesla Model S P85 with AP1. I bought it as a CPO from Tesla just 4 months ago and am realizing it's too big of a car for me as we have another vehicle to take the kids. It's got all the options including:

Unlimited Lifetime Supercharging
Pano Roof
Auto Pilot
Tech Package with parking sensors
Tan Performance Seats
White Alcantara Headliner
Smart Air Suspension
Sub Zero Package
Premium Sound Package
Red Calipers
Carbon Fiber Spoiler
19” Black Slip Stream Wheels

The wheels make the car look A LOT more aggressive. The car is in pristine condition inside and out.

During the CPO process, Tesla upgraded my battery to a 90 kwh pack which now gives the car 286 miles at 100% which is whooping 25 miles more than a regular P85. It's got the performance of a P85 but the added range of a 90 kWh pack. It's a true unicorn as a P90!!
As far as the CPO warranty, Tesla fixes everything from bumper to bumper. What's better is that you know the warranty is good for another 3 years and 8 months.

My asking price is $62k and I’m in the Bay Area.

Per someone's request, here are some interior pix. Also, the reason Tesla installed a 90 kwh pack battery because the car had had a faulty high voltage battery and had no available 85 kwh packs at the time. That's why they put in a 90 kwh pack instead.

Heres one just like it with no AP, $52k

2014 Tesla Model S | eBay

To be fair, the one you linked is not "just like it". No premium sound and no 90Kwh pack. If you could get Tesla to voluntarily upgrade the 85 pack, that alone would cost around $24,000. Also, the premium sound system was a four figure add on. As you noted, the linked car also doesn't have AP1. Adding all those items together, it seems the OP's offer is way better.

While I agree with what you're saying, one correction would be that IF Tesla had a battery upgrade program, I'm sure it would be expensive, but I also think you would get some type of trade-in value for your existing battery - especially if it's like the linked car that has a perfectly working battery in it. I would think the 90 now costs in the range of $18k and you might get $10k for your 85. I'm thinking $8k to to $10k would be the upgrade cost.

But then, in reality, the value of the 90 pack is the 25 extra miles of range. What that's worth to someone is hard to say.

With all that said, I'd LOVE to own this car. :D
