Unlocking the Doors from inside

Menu maze? Tapping the Controls button in the bottom left is considered a 'maze'?
It is when you don't use it very often and have to think about where the door handle release is. You might not have been on the screen that has that function the last time you were in Controls. The shifter is always right there.

what if you DON'T want someone from the outside to be able to tap the handle to extend it and open the door?
wouldn't this be a safety concern if anyone can just open the door from the outside, when you're in the car? of course the stranger would have to know how a Tesla MS works, but it's possible.

If you have moved after starting the car, then the doors are locked, so there is only the time from entering the car to moving when there is that condition. This will likely be addressed in some future update, however you shoud write ownership to let them know that this is a concern. (The more requests, the quicker the update.)

Here's what I'd like to see:

Repurpose the "Tesla T" that lives at the top-center of the touchscreen:
  • Door lock status indicator: Doors unlocked, T is Tesla red; locked, T is gray (as it is now)
  • Tap the T: toggle door lock/unlock status
  • Hold the T: opens the "About your Model S" window (as it does now when tapped)

This "Tesla T" is on a valuable bit of console real estate, and checking the car's software version number doesn't deserve such a prime location.
