Update change order

I'm first day reservation holder got my chance to order in the middle of April and pulled the trigger ordered 5/20/2018
I updated to AWD 5/20/2018 the first day it became available after a tweet from EMusk. I have I of the change order number on 5/22/ 2018.
They sent a invoice attached without the AWD change or charge. After numerous emails and phone calls I have not been able to get anybody to correct my order or invoice. After 2 months I got a message saying that a experienced update specialist will be in touch. So far I'm still floating around with no direction. Yesterday a friend who has an S for his wife and X for himself decided he wanted a Model 3 and ordered AWD white with white interior on Sunday the 29th. Less than 24 hours later he received a confirmation and I notice to be prepared for delivery. This is so utterly random and unprofessional. Has anybody else shared shared such mayhem ?
Does anybody with any authority have any realistic advice?
