Update green building codes to make EV charging available for everyone

Would be great to see the state government act on this. Meanwhile I wonder if local authorities could enact their own reach codes?

It is going to take more thzn code change. We need EV friendly utlity rates. I own an apartment and let one of my tenants charge from a circuit on the house meter. The demand charges for only 2kW charging are $25 per month. The kWhr charges are trivial but the demand charges are the same whether the tenant charges once for thirty minutes or every night.
