Just got my car back from 1st Annual Service, and they installed an "updated" 12v jump post. Service order states "Concern: Replace 12V Positive Jump Post, Cold Weather Regions" so perhaps it's not for everyone.

Did not find any mention of this on the forums, thought I would share with the group. I had not noted any concerns with the 12v Jump Post, anyone?

Part: MDLS, 12V JUMP POST, SERVICE (1046217-03-A)

Me too, and I think more than once. I believe it has to do with the original design corroding when exposed to road salt. I've never actually had the nosecone off myself to see what it looks like in there.

Ditto. Had mine upgraded as well during my annual service this past Friday.

Got that with a recent service center visit as well... along with the contactor replacement.
