Updated NN for the wipers?

I'm sure I read elswhere on the forum there is suposed to be an updated neural network for the auto wipers?

If there is well all I can say is if true then they have a lot further to go.

Wiper go nuts when you start off when there is no rain if there is even a hint of moisture on the screen
Wipers totally useless in light drizzle
Wipers dont work in the dark.

Apart from that they're fine.

Have to say that this is possibly the worst case where I think Elon's hubris got totally out of control.
How much effort is required in software (and processing power that could be better utilised elswhere) to make this work when there is an industry standard rain sensor for likely less than $5.

They work pretty well for me. My wife doesn't like them as much.

Indeed should be updated in a future release

should have referenced that i'm on 2018.48.12.1 so pretty current at time of posting.
Not sure what build the updated wipers was supposed to be included in.

My wipers go at 100 mph when turned on for 1st time.got to be an easy fix for that.

I'm not seeing this behaviour.

The wipers work very well for me, never seen them going too fast when first turned on, or problems in light rain.
