Upgrade to Enhanced AutoPilot before Sept 30

Should we start a new thread and ask if anyone is planning to upgrade to FSD?

FSD isn't a limited time offer as far as I know.... there certainly will be a lot of threads if Musk warns of another FSD price increase though!

Opted not to go for it. Auto Lane Change was the only thing I was keenly interested in, but for $4k, I can reingage auto steer. (Plus, w/ AB available, I spent the $2k for it instead.)

Today. It was available same as everyone else until today. Now, on and off as an option.

So if anyone bought EAP then canceled it, did FSD go back to 8k ?

EAP was still there on my APP 15 minutes ago, then it was gone, now it's back. I clicked it and could have bought if it I wanted to.

Is smart summon part of the EAP upgrade they just released and ended on 9/30? I’ve been able to use regular summon to have it pull into my narrow driveway and back up. I don’t see anything that shows “come to me”. How do I find if I have it?

I believe Musk has alluded to it in the past, but that's no guarantee. It is also expected to be more expensive this way, so probably higher than the loan service costs of the current price.

If they roll it out on a subscription/pay per use basis, I would expect the pricing model to reach 8K sooner rather than later.

Have to select the “smart summon” button on top of the roof to activate smart summon. Doesn’t say “come to me.”
