Upgraded Katzkin leather interior done today

Today I had the vinyl removed front and rear for black Katzkin leather with silver diamond stitch pattern to match carbon fiber. They did an excellent job. OP. how do you like the location of the alien gear? I was thinking of placing mine there as well for longer drives. Did you just attach to the trim piece?

Yeah I bolted straight through so it is strong. It is very nice for long trips and to draw would be easier then a belt holster with the seatbelt on but kinda tight on the right. There is a hinge mechanism in there and my storage flap only opens about 80% now which is still ok with me.

Thanks, I'll have to pull it apart again before I drill. Was thinking about doing it when I had it apart when adding 12v cig lighter hub but wasnt sure I wanted to drill into the console.

Is the hole on you drilled on passenger side console for power/usb?

Really wish I would have seen this before ordering white. Would have much preferred a custom interior. Damn.
