Upgrading exterior of Pre-refresh Model S

All,

For those of us who have the older body design, our cars are running great but we may want to do a small refresh on the exterior.

Here are some to get started:

1. If you have aero/base wheels...upgrade to slipstream ($800-1000 used)
2. Front Facia refresh $3,000
3. Removal/painting of back accent piece beneath the bumper.

Please list your top exterior mods to make your S look more current?

  1. add "T" emblems to your wheel center caps
  2. replace older Turbines with Arachnids (see picture)

Additional $1500-2k to paint the front fascia bumper. You can also have the rocker panels painted for $500-$1000.

Nice work and great video! Thanks!

What did the parts cost?

How did you resolve the taught Autopilot sensor wire issue you mentioned in the video?
All in it was about $900, but I'll be selling the pre-refresh bumper to defray some of the cost. We ultimately cut the parking sensor wires and soldered on about 4" of cable heat-shrinking the connections to make it water tight.
