I'm pretty sure that I recall someone saying that it has been updated to only to apply to cars with service invoices attached to them, that the geofencing no longer works to just trigger an update.

We certainly saw an update the geofence didn't work for - I wasn't clear on whether it would never work again or it was just that update.
