Is that the new one where which way it's facing doesn't matter? Ahhh, the good ol' days stories we can tell our children about how you had to flip the USB cable over 15 times before you finally figured out which way it was supposed to go.

It is!

Not only that, it supports much faster charge rates (USB-C Power Delivery standard) without having to offset licensing fees to Qualcomm for their Quick Charge tech. Of course, you'll need to stick a USB-C PD-capable adapter into the 12V port to get anything even approaching fast charging out of the X.
