After many requests, we've updated our center console dock adapter to work with a Lightning to USB-C cable that a customer found on Amazon. It's a bit smaller than the standard Tesla USB-A cables and the 27W-capable USB-C cables we supply, so the kit now comes with a revised adapter and shims to adapt to the Lightning cable.
So you can now install wired connectors of either type on either side and still keep the wireless pad in place. Of course the car only has one USB-C port in the console, to power everything, you’ll need to swap cables, run additional power from the 12V outlet in the console, or get one of the available hubs to add more ports.
