Might be a blown fuse. The SC should be able to isolate the issue. If you're a DYI kind of person, then you could always try to access the fuse panel (kickplate by driver's right foot) and check it out for yourself.
Did you check to see if the USB is sending power the wrong way? Maybe the car is charging from the phone? Would be difficult to tell as the car pack is over double the size of an iPhone battery though.

In Canada if they lose power on an airplane they just reverse the usb flow and power the plane from everyone’s phones that are plugged in. That’s why I always charge mine preflight.
