USB powers of even with Sentry mode running on firmware 2019.40.x

Hi,

Has anyone else noticed that the USB connections power off even when you have Sentry mode on? I'm running TeslaUSB on a Raspberry Pi Zero W which normally kept running when Sentry mode was On. Now it no longer does this.

Any similar experiences? I have a 2020 Model S.

Both of mine stopped working. This Christmas present has been a horror update on this side of the pond. No added stuff, just things that don't work anymore, like voice commands and Netflix on LTE.

Just revisiting this. I updated my 2020 Model S to 2019.40.50.7. It still powers of the USB ports with Sentry mode on. Moreover, it falls asleep with Sentry mode on.

Has anyone seen similar behavior?

Is the issue Sentry Mode not working or the videos not being backed up to cloud? If the latter and if you find that the clips aren’t getting completely transferred before the car powers down after you park or before you leave you can use the Tesla app to turn on the Climate control. This will send power to the Raspberry Pi, allowing it to complete the archival operation.
