Yep. I'm firmly in the former date range (ordered late June). I'm not going to push it if she made a mistake and I end up with $250, but likewise I'm not going to argue if I end up getting $400 instead.

Bummer. Looks like that was the original Solar award:Only got $100 total for my self 9/19 orderthat's after escalating to Exec CS b/c I didn't get anything (even SC miles) after all these months. Tesla's level 1 CS is terrible, Exec CSR was great.
Wonder if it's worth fighting more

I got $250 for my self-referral; but the reward was $250-$250 when I placed my order.
How long did it take for you to get your reward? Does it come in check or Tesla store credit?

About 6 weeks after PTO. It came as a check in the mail. If you've been waiting a while for yours, try emailing [email protected] ; they got back to me pretty quickly when I asked.
Thank you. I emailed this account a few weeks ago and haven't heard back. My PTO was in Octomber and I actually got an email a month ago from Tesla saying they were going to mail me the check in a week... Still wating.

Somehow I'm still surprised the customer service experience can be so inconsistent. I just checked my email (from November), they replied to me 5 days after I asked about the check.
I'm going to give it another two weeks to make a phone call. Their phone wait is pretty long these days.
yes it who you get/luck of the draw. I finally had to threaten panel take down (rental) or escalation to get to level 2 CSR

Generally no. Also I've seen a few posts on Reddit where Tesla associates are telling folks they're not allowed to self-refer any more. But as with all things Tesla associates say, they may not be correct or apply universally.
