Using the lighter plug

Have a question on using an adapter to turn the 12v lighter plug into a 110v plug. Will this cause any issue or blow a fuse at all?

As long as you do not attempt to pull more than 10 amps at 12V or 120 watts from the outlet, you should be fine. More than that you will blow a fuse. What are you trying to power? Some laptops may exceed that power budget.

Would be for an indoor nest cam. Won’t be use often but will be to monitor our baby sleeping in the car in the garage when we get home and don’t want to wake her up.

You should be able to find a camera designed for automotive use that runs from 12 volts. Basically a dash cam for inside the car.
