Hi! I've got a P85+ and have 20" wheels I purchased for snow tires. I'm buying an X 90D and wanted to know if the wheels that I use on my S will work on the X.

    Thanks!

Didn't someone mention they were skinnier tho? Maybe that's a good thing for range tho?

OP careful with the offsets - my understanding is that the reason you don't see a bunch of Model X out there with Model S wheels is the Model S offsets will not clear the break calipers on the Model X so even if you are "experimenting" try rotating the wheel in the air before lowering.

Are your 20" wheels T-Sportline? Maybe give them a call and ask first.

It would probably work. In 95 percent of cases the wheel would fit fine. Knowing the exact dimensions of the wheel would allow one to tell with more certainty.

Will need new tires though as the tire size is completely different.

I would be a bit careful. I also moved from S to X and wondered 19 inch cyclone wheels for S (19 8.0J) could be used on X, as X has a Tesla genuine option for Winter Cyclone wheel set (19 8.5J).

Not sure why Tesla changed the size of 19 inch wheels, but it could be because the load ratings of the tire. The wider the tires, the bigger the load ratings.
