Oh no. I just drove from Vegas to St George on my way to camping at Zion tomorrow. I planned on charging at the campsite but forgot my charging cable! I don't suppose anyone around the Zion area had a cable I could borrow this weekend????

Glad that it worked out for you. For anyone else traveling to Zion NP there are a couple of J-1772 plugs at the visitor center parking lot. Really nice to charge up while you take the shuttle bus to park trail heads.

Yeah I try not to read the comments for that reason.

The thing that I noticed was that south eastern Utah was going to get a couple of locations. Monticello and Bluff. My guess is that you would need a CCS adapter, but I have one for my car. It seems like it should make travel in that area a lot easier.

I used the existing State of Utah provided Chargepoint CPE250 CCS stations in both Monticello and especially Bluff during the eclipse. Very convenient for me, the one at the history museum in Monticello was a great bathroom / stretch legs stop. But expansion and having backup options (especially if it's going to be at a 24/7 Maverik c-store location?) is never a bad thing.

Sounds as if the Nephi Tesla sponsored station will be a new V4 installation. Although I suppose they could use Magic Docks at a V3, as they did in Moab.

Bummed now. I have always hung the second plate in my garage for all my cars. Now I'll have to wait until I replace the car.

Still better overall since I wont need to worry about the second offense anymore.
