There is a good video about the renewable tipping point in another thread - the idea that "The more you manufacture a product (solar cells and windmills), the lower the cost, the more you extract a resource (oil and coal), the higher the cost" pretty much spells out the doom facing the fossil industry. They know it, and are fighting to prolong the end.
