I'm a Tesla apologist for the most part, but I'm astounded at the lack of physical buttons on the yoke.
Three weeks in, and I still need to LOOK DOWN to accurately press the horn and lights buttons. The turn signals, which have a physical divider between them, are only marginally better.
At no point should I be forced to look down while driving to use the horn or lights, even for an introductory 'learning period'. This is profoundly unsafe, and I still can't believe Tesla went to market with non-physical buttons on the yoke. And true "buttons" aren't even needed - a slight elevation would've sufficed. Assuming that all future vehicles will have this, I can't help but think this is an epic fail, and I'm almost surprised that regulators haven't ruled it illegal.
