Hello Is Tesla using all around glass with 100% UVA and UVB protection, in the current line-up? I am asking this, just to know what we would get with the new Roadster. I am healthy-life freak, and UVA/UVB protection is something i can not abdicate in my car. In my current car, i have ceramic film in all glasses. Tesla is always at the forefront of healthy features, with electric motors, mega air-filters and i hope it has 100% UVA and UVB protection in the new Roadster.
Great question for Tesla support but I believe all OEMs are required to have some level of UV protection for exterior-exposed glass.
UV coatings on prescription clear lenses are as positive as these on sunglasses. ... Polycarbonate lenses block UV rays barring an extra coating. UV rays are worried in the improvement of cataracts, eye-surface issues like pterygia and pingueculae, and macular degeneration.
