Is anyone seeing this improvement on their X?
My '16 90D has been doing about 400-500Wh/mile since forever.
Got the software update with V.2019.32.1 a few days ago and now it's doing lower than 350Wh/mile. It was doing 266Wh/mile this morning on my commute.

My "X" is currently in for service, but I'm looking forward to testing this out when I get it back (couple of weeks). Even when I choose to curb my "spirited" driving, I still avg high 300's for consumption (< 35 mph). I have yet to use chill mode (keep mine on sport), so we'll see how it goes.

I picked up a service loaner P100D from 2016 w/ 22 in. wheels. I noticed right away that the w/h per mile was way higher than my 100D. Like you described, above 400 -- more like 450. I expected it to be high, but not 450... as that would drain a battery way faster... then add cold weather... etc.

A software update was pending to 2019.32.1... so I did that in the evening before a 90 mile drive.
I was puzzled as well, and this is just an observation... but the w/h per mile also went to the 380 range. More like what I see on my 100D w/ 20" wheels.

Anecdotal info, clearly, as this is not my normal driver X... but I think this is a possbile data point.

I had the Same experience with my model S. It coincided with me taking OUT of chill mode, so I thought it was that. But maybe it's the software update. Who knows.

Did the wheels displayed in the IC change on these vehicles after the update? One of the features of this update is the option to choose wheels and have it adjust your range estimation accordingly, so if it's not showing the right wheels now (or if it wasn't before), that could explain the behavior. It's also feasible that this new feature introduced a bug where the more efficient calculation is always used regardless of which wheels are selected or that the calculation is wrong until you select different wheels and the go back to the correct ones.
