V10: nav thinks my car is in Mtn View (wtf)

I picked up my new MS LR last night at the Kearney Mesa (San Diego) facility. Everything worked great until I installed V10 last night. Now the Nav thinks my car is in Mountain View. Even after driving it around town here in San Diego, Nav still thinks I’m in MV. Any ideas for how to refresh the signal so maps and Nav place my car in the correct location?

Hold both steering scroll wheels to reboot the system. That should fix it.

Hmmm. Definitely restarted the system but it still has me in Mountain View. Weird.

If reboot doesn’t help, drive in reverse for a few feet, go forward. Park car. Do reboot. Gets it every time.

Sounds a little like the tricks I had to use on my IBM PC XT back in the day!

It happened to mine as well (Portland, OR) and it took a test ride around the block to 'reset' it.

How funny, that still does it! Phone support told me that almost 3 years ago. You know, back when they picked up right away...
