V7.0 naming your Tesla 42

    Have not seen anyone else post this yet. So if figured I would check with the forum to see if this is another Easter egg.

    When the v7.0 upgrade was done, my s85d asked for a name. I could not think of anything quick enough and I really wanted to get to the new feature release notes so I named mine 42. When I checked the car later I noticed the name of the car had changed from 42 to Life, the Universe, and Everything.

    Has as anyone else seen this too?

    You can rename it by clicking on the name after holding down the T on the 17" screen.

    Cool Easter egg.

    I hope it also causes the words "DON'T PANIC" to appear in large friendly letters on the onscreen owner's manual title page...

    How does it show up in the App? I am still on 6.2. I would totally rename my car 42 though! Great find.

    The VIN is replaced by the new name of the car.

    Tried on 6.2 (2.5.36) and it doesn't work, so this is definitely new for 7.0.
