V9 (39.7) - Random speaker icon appears next to car

Noticed when I was driving that a speaker icon appears just to the left of the car/autopilot render on the screen - seems pretty random and never noticed it before. Looked at owners manual but didn’t see the icon or any mention of it.

Wonder what it represents.

If it is the one I'm thinking about it shows up on the older versions of software as well. It is a mute button for the proximity sensors when parking. It shows up when you hear the "ding" from being too close to an object.

I felt so silly when I posted about this after a software update (I think when I went from 24.x to 32.x). I thought it was a new feature or something, but it had always been there.

As above, it’s the indicator for the audible dings that sound when you are close to things. Tap to mute.

To mute the chimes temporarily, press the scroll button on the left side of the steering wheel or touch the mute button in the bottom left corner of the Park Assist view.
