V9 cannot play music from USB stick

I cannot find the option to do this. I have 1 USB stick with my music as well as TeslaCam folder for dashcam. The dashcam is working fine.

When I hoped they fixed some of the USB playback issues in V9 they pulled the function altogether? We use USB playback exclusively and that’s going to be a big issue. Anyone else with v9 wanna chime in?

You need to put the music folders and dashcam folder on separate USB sticks.

I haven't tried to set up dashcam yet, but I can find and play music on both of my USB sticks, so this guy may be right ,or the interface may be confusing you. It is different, and I don't have it memorized to tell you what to do atm.

it works. the USB option appears as soon as there are 2 USB sticks inserted, 1 for TeslaCam and 1 for music

Ok, to be clear. 2 USB sticks are not required. Just that if you want USB music, it can't be on the same USB stick as TeslaCam

You can also have two formatted partitions on the usb. One for the camera. The other for music. This will allow you to have both with one usb stick.

Very cool! Hadn't thought of that idea. Much better solution since I'd like to leave one of my USB ports open to charge my phone. Cheers!
