And this is in the manual, also. A plugged-in Tesla is a happy Tesla. I have one car that doesn’t get driven that much, usually charged to 80%. I don’t see any reason to change that because I’m not in the house. :D

Seriously, anything in the middle (80 or below) is fine. We really think about this too much.
 
Tesla needs to make this part of the new owner package, since eventually everyone goes on vacation and it seems like some percent of them ask what to do with their car...
Since the manual clearly states a plugged in Tesla is a happy Tesla, why would being away for a few days change anything?

What new owner package? The training in the SC? For someone that isn’t familiar and spent two years on TMC before getting the car, details like that will go in one ear and out the other with the information overload. Hard enough to remember how AP works, when it will start working, etc.
