Since the release of firmware 6.2, valet mode has offered a "fun limiting" option for handing your Model S over to anyone else (valet, spouse, teenager, etc.). I wanted to quantify how much the fun was limited. Below are comparative results for my vehicle between valet and standard modes. I used an app on my iPhone 6 called PocketDyno+ (v2.7.1) that uses the phone's accelerometers to measure time and speed and the vehicle weight to calculate power. The phone was magnetically mounted to the dash using a Steelie mount.
