I’ll be taking my car to get the front wrapped on Tuesday, probably take a couple d
I went through this process before. I highly recommend an XPEL wrap, and I highly suggest Ronnie at PH Solar (Kingsway). Ive been to two wrap companies in Vancouver, and Ronnie does a better job with honest pricing. I’m bringing my car to him in a few days for another wrap.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Mine is going to him first thing tomorrow morning, pick up the car tonight, he is a great guy. I'll update when I pick the car up on Wednesday, I'm just having the front done.

I’ve got my wraps done by Paul and Ronnie at PH Solar too. They’ve wrapped 3 of my cars and window tinted 8 of my previous cars.

For ceramic coatings, I’ve gone with Ken Wilson from Autowerkes in Maple Ridge. Excellent work and very meticulous to detail. He applied C Quartz Pro to my wife’s Model X and my Model S on top of the XPEL to give it the ultimate shine and lustre.

Yep. I think you recommended Ronnie to me one year ago, and I was very happy with his work. Thank you for the recommendation. He's a good installer.

Does he do window tinting?

We met with him as well and will likely go there too. Seems like a nice guy who is keen on his trade. Liked him a lot.

Yes, PH Solar does window tinting and paint protection film.

Ken at Autowerkes will provide you with a coutesy car, but you won’t get a coutesy car from PH Solar.

Ken has all his prices on his website for PPF and coatings.

As for PH Solar, you’ll have to call Paul or Ronnie for a quote.

Just picked up my car from Ron at PH Solar and it looks amazing, I had the front wrapped as well as the screen and console. Had the console changed to flat black and it looks so much better. Such a great guy to deal with its the place to go in Vancouver.

I think I saw your midnight silver 3 there yesterday. Mine was the Blue X. Your car looks awesome. Ronnie is a great installer and did a perfect job on my car. Flawless!

Yeah that was mine, your car had me thinking of getting my doors done. The doors and lower rails are different on the 3 so I'm holding off for now. Love the white interior but I would be afraid to own it.

I hesitated to do the doors at first, but after one year in, the bottom corners of my rear doors got sprayed with road grit and sandblasted the paint a bit. As well, just touching the doors daily would scratch up the super soft paint. Way more peace of mind when parking beside other cars. Just do it.

When I get my model 3, I’m taking it straight from delivery to Ronnie to wrap the entire car.

I'm taking my Model 3 to Splashes in South Surrey on Monday and have group pricing for Suntek clear bra, Pearl Nano coating & window tint for any other Model 3 owners. I'll be at the meet & greet this Sun Jun 24 5pm at Tsawwassen Mills mall superchargers if anyone wants more information or wants to come by and show off their cars: Supercharger Meet and Greet

Coming a bit late to this thread but I had my MS 100D coated with Opti-Coat Pro+ as soon as I got it (3 months ago) and I've been super happy with it. Sheds dirt so much more easily and looks awesomely glossy, even when it is a bit on the dusty side. After doing a bunch of research and visiting/interviewing 3 shops, I chose RDI Detailing in Richmond for a number of reasons including their hours of operation and their certification/specialty with paint protection.

Roman, Igor and Dennis are the three Russians who run RDI and they are such hard workers. They work super long hours and are available 7 days a week, if you have any questions. Opt-Coat Pro+ requires a special certification to apply it and they are the only shop in town that has gone to the effort to get that certification. I liked that they took the effort to go down to the US and take the course to become certified. It shows a level of care, in my mind. Another thing that I liked is that these guys are specialists in paint protection (ceramic coating and pain protection film). They don't do all sorts of random things or other types of detailing. They specialize in paint protection and I liked that.

They did a fantastic job of the coating. They covered all surfaces including the glass and they even re-did the glass coating when I came back for my 30-day checkup because it wasn't completely even the first time. They didn't complain or grumble at all about doing that. Their primary concern was making sure I was happy and the job was done to the best quality. I would highly recommend checking RDI out if a specialist in paint protection is what you're looking for.

Mind if I ask how much it cost?
