Varying range in CPO 75D models

Hello,
Trying to decide between a CPO/Used 75D, 85D, and a 90D from Tesla. The 75Ds on line right now show either 259 or 234 for a range. Coincidentally enough the Red's with VINs in the 134xxx range are the ones at 234, and the one with a VIN 154xxx shows 259. What am I missing - later gen battery in the 154xxx VIN series? What about 90Ds that show a range of 265 miles, VIN series 100xxx, vs an 85D VIN series 088xxx with a range of 265?

So the 75D gets 259 (or 234 which is a 10% hit), 90Ds get 265 and the 85Ds get 265 as well? I'm aware the 90s had battery issues, is that the reason its the same as the 85D? Confused and this is weird.

Hi. 234 mi appears to be a website error. For example, this S75D shows 234 mi EPA but all S75D should show 259 mi EPA. I'm not surprised because I have seen other errors. For example, the S100D has 335 mi (539 km) EPA rated range. The Canadian Design Studio correctly shows 539 km. However, the CPO's incorrectly show 632 km.

I recommend that you ignore the advertised range numbers. There are too many problems with those numbers. The first issue is they combine city and highway scores but you only want highway. The second issue is, Tesla sometimes increases or decreases the scores for marketing purposes. The third issue is, the score corresponds to ~63 mph. Ideally, you want the range at higher speeds. I have looked at the actual EPA scores, not the advertised scores because those are different. I then created the table here from EPA highway scores.

The range at 75 mph is as follows:
Model S 75D: 224
Model S 85D: 236
Model S 90D: 253
Model S 100D: 284
Model 3 LR AWD: 276

In addition, you need to consider degradation because these numbers are for new cars. See the chart here. Also, I recommend considering the Model 3 LR AWD instead of a CPO Model S. See my messages here.
