Velcro like tape

My car didn't come with the front plate attached. It was in the trunk with the hardware taped to the bracket. The tape was some sort of mild velcro like tape, but not velcro. One side is sticky tape and the other seemed to be made of super small hooks that stuck to carpet. Does anyone know what this tape is called? It would be useful to use to help keep things from sliding around in the back.

When I search for velcro like tape, I just get a bunch of velcro stuff.

I think you may be referring to the material that's on the bottom of the Mobile Connector bag and the stock floor mats? If so, I'm interested in that too. Regular Velcro is too grippy and rips the fibers from the carpeting when it is lifted. This material can be lifted from carpeting without causing damage.

A similar (but different looking) material is also on the case of the Tesla tire repair kit. It looks like superfine Velcro. I'd love to know where to get something like this.
